I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for over 20 years, having obtained my certification at the Center for Natural Wellness, School of Massage Therapy in Albany, NY. During the 18 months of the part-time program I enrolled in, I worked as a Radiation Therapist (RTT), a health care worker who specializes in the treatment of cancer patients using large Linear Accelerator machines. Even after school, I continued pursuing RTT for quite a few more years, performing Massage Therapy part time. After 27 years of RTT and feeling I needed to follow a different path, I decided to change careers and pursue Massage Therapy full time. Like Radiation Therapy, it is a highly rewarding profession for at the end of the day, I know I made a difference in someone’s life, especially when it comes to their healthcare and overall quality of life. I enjoyed RTT, but Massage Therapy is where my true passion lies. I simply love doing what I do!
Outside of my work life, I enjoy many hobbies: reading/writing, photography, space and atmospheric science, hiking, weightlifting/weight training, running, swimming, traveling,
baseball, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, to name a few.
