My name is David Maddocks, owner of Concord Deep Tissue Massage
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for over 20 years. My career began at the Center for Natural Wellness, School of Massage Therapy in Albany, NY. I enrolled in their 18-month part-time program, allowing me to continue working as a Radiation Therapist (RTT) — a healthcare provider specializing in the treatment of cancer patients using large Linear Accelerator machines.
Even after completing school, I continued working as an RTT for several more years, practicing Massage Therapy part-time. However, feeling burned out, I decided to change careers and pursue Massage Therapy full-time. Like Radiation Therapy, it is a highly rewarding profession. I know I make a difference in my clients’ lives by improving their overall quality of life. While I enjoyed RTT, Massage Therapy is where my true passion lies. I simply love what I do!
Outside of work, I have many hobbies that bring me joy. These include reading and writing, photography, space and atmospheric science, hiking, weightlifting, running, swimming, traveling, baseball, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and listening to classical music (I’m particularly fond of Beethoven).
